NEPAL: ANNAPURNA CHITWAN
Trek the Annapurnas and explore Chitwan National Park
book print
flight insurance
This is one of our most popular trips combining the Annapurna Trek and Chitwan Safari, and offers some of the best walking in the Annapurnas. We include the Pokhara Valley with its panoramic views of Machapuchare and the Annapurna massif, picturesque Gurung villages of the hills and the rhododendron-forested ridge lines that provide stunning vantage points for views of the highest peaks. The views of the Himalaya from Gandrung are among the regions best. The Annapurna Trek will appeal to those trekkers who wish to experience the diversity that Nepal can offer.

The fascinating village life of diverse ethnic groups, walking through lush forests and the beauty of the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges are highlights of this trek. We experience these highlights while staying at low altitudes where the temperatures remain moderate. The trek pace is relaxed to ensure that the trek is comfortably achievable by trekkers of average fitness for their age but as you would expect, there are uphill sections.

We believe this to be the best 6 day trek in the Annapurna's. A fitting finale is our stay at Chitwan where we explore the jungle in search of the diverse wildlife on canoe, foot and elephant back. Our return to vibrant Kathmandu completes this exciting journey.
