WHO TRAVELS ON THESE TRIPS?
Your travel companions, although from diverse backgrounds, share a common curiosity, have an open mind, a sense of humor and are inspired by the rewards that result from being ‘travellers’ not tourists. They appreciate the small groups (between 10 -15 people), a relaxed atmosphere and an itinerary that is carefully planned but not over structured.

AM I FIT ENOUGH?
Our tours are suitable for people of all ages and levels of fitness. We have graded our trips to reflect the degree of difficulty and, in many instances, less strenuous optional activities are also possible. All you need is good health, an inquisitive mind and a spirit for adventure. Contact us if you have any questions.

WHAT ABOUT FOOD?
You will feast on an array of culinary delights and hearty camping cuisine thoughtfully prepared by our staff or by the chefs at one of the many local restaurants that we visit. Eat well and don’t worry, our active days will keep us from putting on those extra pounds! If you are on a special diet, we will be happy to discuss it with you.

WHERE WILL I STAY?
Accommodations vary from trip to trip but have been chosen for their charm, character and location. They are always clean, comfortable and most have private facilities. While trekking, all group equipment for camping is provided, with few exceptions, and you will sleep in comfortable tents.

HOW WILL I TRAVEL?
Half the fun of travelling is the mode of transportation. On our trips, we travel by chartered bus, on foot, by canoe and by kayak.

WHAT IF I AM A SINGLE TRAVELER?
Many of our participants are single travellers. We will pair suitable companions and there is no single supplement if a match is not available. Single rooms may be available, on request, for an extra charge.
