How to get there
There are several options for travel to Hanoi, where our adventure begins. Contact our office for details of the special airfares to suit your travel plans.

Climate
Vietnam experiences two different climatic zones. The North is moderate, with a cool, dry winter from November to April, and a hot summer with occasional heavy rains from May to October. The South is tropical, with a cool season from November to January, a hot season from February to April or May, and a rainy season from May or June to October. Weather patterns in the central regions can vary due to the Truong Son mountain range.

Currency
Vietnam's currency is the dong. One Canadian dollar is approximately 11,200 dong.

Language
The language of Vietnam is Vietnamese. All tours are accompanied by English-speaking guides.

Health
No special inoculations are required. However, we recommend that visitors should be inoculated against typhoid, cholera, hepatitis A, tetanus and polio. It may be advisable to take precautions against malaria, especially if travelling off the beaten track. Please contact the nearest travel health clinic for updated advice.

Visas
Visas are required for Canadian and US citizens to visit Vietnam.
